, hotel is near to the tram way and closer to the historic places and to restaurants. location is perfect. the room was not completely clean. the small bathroom contained a shower that was not kept separate from the toilet. the shower cabin worked very bed, the whole bathroom got wet when you took a shower. the hot water works only in the morning. the safe didn'.t work.,

, my husband and i had a most enjoyble holiday and were well pleased with the hotel. it is a family run business and the staff (family members) were very friendly and helpful. the location is excellent if your visit is to see the sites as the most polular tourist sites are within easy walking distance. the tram station is at the top of the road on which the hotel s located and that makes travelling place to place fast, cheap and easy. i would recommend the hotel to anyone seeking a budget holiday,

, nice hotel, the price offered from venere was excellent. breakfast terrace has a view to the ocean. even though overall cleaniness is good, bathroom may not be completely clean (they told me they are working on it, though). the map from venere was completely misleading, this place is just two blocks south from cemberlitas tram station, going steep down the hill. the owner family is friendly and nice. breakfast is simple but nice. they have free in-room wireless internet, but it may not reach all the rooms - in such case, they have wireless in the lobby.,

, the pictures are very decieving. the hotel is very old compared to the pictures shown.we were given 2 separate twin beds and our son slept on a small sofa which opened to a bed. on the internet the hotel said they provide shuttle service to and from the airport. we called from the airport when we got to istanbul, but the front desk said there is no such thing and the information on the internet is very old. they said they will update the info at a suitable time.it is very expensive compared to the other hotels in the area which have much much bigger rooms and are cleaner. the washrooms can only accomodate one person at a time and the showers are a very tight fit. once you get in you cannot move around. the hot water works only in the morning.the toilets in the rooms are dirty and need better cleaning.the room was supoosed to come with a safe but the reception said that only a few rooms had them.we asked for a safe and the reception promised us a safe and kept giving us the run around. so we checked out of the hotel on the 30th and moved to another hotel a few blocks away. we spent a week there.do not advertise for something you cannot provide. they did a lot of false advertising.,

, i will start with the bad but you have to read to the end to understand why i recommend this hotel., because this is a new hotel no one knew where it is and a 20 minuet car ride from the air port took more than an hour. , the workers speak very basic english and often could not understand what we wanted of them., the elevator kept getting stuck., the street is a bit noisy at night even with the window closed., the hot and cold water are backwards in the showers, the good news is: , the workers went out of there way to help us when ever we needed something and managed to explain what we wanted., the placing of the hotel is perfect for all the sights in the old city. we walked to all the sights and did not need to take even 1 public transportation for our whole visit, the ac worked fine, plenty of hot water., the bottom line - if you are in istanbul to see istanbul and need a place to set up base this hotel is fine. if you want to see a nice hotel for the sake of the hotel - you can do better,
