, the hotel was ideal for a family holiday - it provided a good base from which to explore rome on a regular basis. the breakfasts are excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to anyone who wanted to use it as a base. it was extremely good value for money. the surrounding areas though are poor and the amenities at the hotel itself are very basic - there is an excellent and very friendly pizzaria (pizza e birra - great pizzas)just round the corner though - we spent a few nights there and were made to feel most welcome (good prices as well). to get to rome itself you need to take a bus (the stop is just past the pizzaria) and take a 5 - 10 minute ride to the nearest metro station (ponte mammolo)and from there it is about 20 minutes to the centre of rome (e.g. colosseo). all the bus/metro services are frequent and cheap (just one euro each way) and you can even get to the beach by changing at piramide. the only other thing to consider is that the hotel is the wrong side of rome for fiumicino airport - but the hotel will arrange for a four seater cab back there for fifty euros (you'.ll have to take your chances getting to the hotel though).,

albergo di buon livello con servizio accurato vicino alle grandi vie di comunicazione e adatto ad un'utenza munita di automobile.

albergo pulito con personale ospitale e professionale. si trova fuori roma in una zona periferica non molto servita. le camere sono pulite e spaziose, purtroppo il riscaldamento è centralizzato ed è regolato troppo alto, la notte è molto fastidioso a causa dell'aria troppo secca. consigliato a chi arriva in zona per motivi di lavoro.

in the internet advertise was written "good public transportation" that was the cause why we decided to take this offer, but in fact we had to wait more than 30 min.for a bus and then we had to change for the metro wich takes another 20 min.the hotel lobby was very poor furnished and do not has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

the location is remote from the city center, in no way is it "well connected by subway" - in fact it is 6 bus stops away from the closest subway station, and the bus stops running at 11:30pm. the hotel is basically in the middle of nowhere, and there are virtually no restaurants and shops, to the contrary of what is stated in the overview! a restaurant across the street is the only one worth mentioning, there is also a pizza place a short walk away, but that's it! the whole area is dead, and what is worse - doesn't seem so safe at night time. another misleading piece of information is the "airport shuttle" - they will call a taxi for you and charge 60 euros for a ride to fiumicino airport (the actual ride cost us 50 euros, and we called the taxi ourselves). the staff members demonstrated substandard performance to say the least, and at times were plain rude. generally, this was the biggest rip off, and we had to ask for our money back. if the size of the room matters to you - you might consider this place, the rooms are reasonably spacious, but as far as the location and the quality of service are concerned, cascina palace is an absolute disaster! oh, it was freezing cold in the room too!!!

dato che ho trovato la camera all'ultimo e me l'hanno svenduta( 60 anzichè 135) il prezzo è ottimo; meno dove è situato. ragazzi senza macchina è una bella sfacchinata fino al centro di roma tra metro e bus.per l'accoglienza e i servizi in camera lasciamo perdere sarà che, come ho detto, me l'hanno svenduta, ma la tipa alla receptions( non la mulata) la prenderei a calci per tutta roma. il servizio venere è comunque ottimo.

el mejor de los hoteles de todos en los que estuvimos, la atencion de los empleados fue fantastica, en especial por parte de stefano, que ademas de gran profesional fue el unico con quien pudimos comunicarnos en español. "gracias stefano!!!". muy bueno el servicio de bufet y aunque se encuentra a 9 km del centro, la combinacion entre bus y metro te deja en 15 minutos en frente del colosseo. recomendable 120 %.

die einrichtung des doppelzimmers ist spartanisch: betten, ein stuhl, kein tisch, fs. nach einer reklamation wurde anstandslos ein neuer raum angeboten (dreibettzimmer), der etwa mehr platz hatte, es wurde ein stuhl hinzugestellt und an dem fs-tisch war eine zusätzliche ecke um z.b schriftliche notizen zu erledigen. jugendliche reisegruppen prägen den geräuschlevel spät abends und früh morgens erheblich!

hotel economico x chi non ha molte pretese, molto distante dal centro, di aspetto generale un pò dismesso ma pulito; la mia camera era piuttosto malridotta: specchio, doccia, rivestimenti bagno rotti ma vivibile comunque x chi si sa adattare un pò. abbondannte la colazione servita da personale molto gentile e disponibile. concludendo prezzo basso ma qualità generale appena sufficiente(occhio alla carta di credito all'arrivo chiedono di fotocopiarla!! evviva il diritto alla privacy se la si nega viene richiesto il pagamento immediato).

l'hotel è bello e pulito, è situato in una zona tranquilla, nonostante non sia nel centro storico è ben collegato con i mezzi pubblici, in trenta minuti si arriva in centro, buona qualità prezzo.

l'unico inconveniente era dovuto dalla giornata eccezzionalmente calda per quel periodo e in camera faceva un caldo bestiale. non sono riuscito a far funzionare il clima perche l'interruttore a mio avviso era rotto

abgesicherter hotelkomplex in ruhiger lage., hilfreich bei der buchung wäre ein nahverkehrshinweis. vom flughafen f. bis station tiburtina mit der s-bahn ,hier umsteigen in die metro b bis pt.mommolo dann in bus 341 bis zum hotel für 2 pers. ca 15€. taxi ca 60€. angenehm und für römische verhältnisse durchaus nicht üblich ist die möglichkeit üppig zu frühstücken.hier ist der service besonders nett. , zivile preise für die minibar.die hauseigene bar ist allerdings geschlossen., etwas oberhalb des hotels gibt es eine gute möglichkeit einzukaufen und lecker zu essen, außerdem ein cafe mit dem günstigsten cappucino plus dolci von ganz rom (1,70€), die fahrt ins zentrum dauert zwar ca. 35 min, aber die können 1000 busmeter im stadtzentrum auch manchmal dauern. rom ist eine stadt der langen wege, wen das nicht stört ist im cascina palace gut aufgehoben. wir waren sehr zufrieden.

the hotel was nicer than the one my brother-in- law had for $250 euros; however, his was on via vento (the eliseo), which was right in rome., we would likely stay somewhere right in the main city of rome if we come again. this hotel was too far out, but it is a good hotel. the bus ride and metro took 30 minutes total to get downtown. however, the cost was only 1 euro each. the metro ticket lasts for 75 minutes & includes the bus ride. you pick up the # 341 bus from the metro. initially, from the airport, we took a train to the termini, where we got on b line metro subway & got off at mammolo. the pick up point for the 341 bus is downstairs. however, we went right outside – upstairs- and it took a long time to find out we should be somewhere else. on the 341, the cascina stop is 5 stops down – called galbini (the clerk had emailed it was 6 stops down & we were wandering around with our luggage for 1 hour, trying to get directions without knowing the language - we laugh about it now). the hotel room had a nice bathroom (small shower), all very clean & had a complete breakfast - the best of our trip. the staff was very pleasant. one of the good parts about being so far from the city was you are right in the suburbs with the locals. at night, plan to go home early, as the metro shuts down before 10 pm in some areas. however, the taxi from via veneto was only 15-21 euros for the both of us, depending upon the time of day. do watch out for people who are too helpful. father-in-law was approached by 3 woman-one with a baby-who tried to take his money out of his hand while the other reached for his pocket. but, could happen anywhere in the world. rome was wonderful.

a nice hotel on the outskirts of rome. not much in the surrounding area, but the public transport into the heart of rome was quite easy to use. breakfast had a lot on offer but wasn't the nicest we had on our travels. this hotel is well suited to people with a vehicle who don't wish to brave the traffic in rome- has secure parking and is not hard to get to.

shiny new building, huge rooms, great breakfast. far from city center, so don't stay out later than the metro runs (taxis are expensive). hotel's computer sort of flaky: my key-card needed reprogramming on 2 of 4 nights and someone burst into my room at 7am, so use the deadbolt when you're there and take your passport with you when you leave.

l' albergo è ubicato in un edificio moderno, è indubbiamente assai economico e in una zona assai lontana dal centro. io ho soggiornato in una stanza matrimoniale, purtroppo in bagno non c'era la presa elettrica e quindi era impossibile utilizzare il rasoio elettrico; come se non bastasse per accendere la luce della camera occorreva scendere dal letto e cercare a tastoni l' interruttore sulla parete., un' altra peculiarità: al momento del ckeck-in fotocopiano la carta di credito, e ciò non mi pare assolutamente corretto. , nulla da eccepire per quanto riguarda la pulizia della stanza e della struttura in generale.

i've been in cascina palace last weekend. paid 80 euro per night, double room with private bathroom and good breakfast included. for what i paid, it is acceptable, since hotel prices in rome are very expensive!, if you don't mind to be 11km distance from the center of rome and if you are out of budget, this will be ok for you., first night: everything ok. arrived at 23:30 at the hotel. no restaurant in the hotel, and restaurants nearby all closed after 22:30. called for a taxi (10euro just for calling) and drove to a good restaurant called "torre". good and cheap. 6 euro ppp., second night: wasn't lucky since the people from the room next side were making noise and laughting until 1am. after warning them and the reception, they shut up. woke up at 7am with racket of workmanships., how to get into this hotel:, from fiumicino airport, 1) take the train to termini station (5 euro, 30minuts), 2) take the subway line b, blue line to "ponte mamollo" (1 euro, 20 minuts, direction rebibbia), 3) take the bus nr 341 and get out after 5 stops (galbani stop) (1 euro i think, 15 minuts), 4) walk 2 minuts, turning the first on your left, and you see the hotel cascina palace., this will take you about 1h15m, how to go to center of rome:, 1) walk 2 minuts til bus stop., 2) take bus 341 and get out on the last stop (ponte mamollo), 3) take subway till termini, line b, blue line. (direction laurentina), 4) at termini, just choose were you want to go, you are at 10/15 minuts from everywere, with bus and subway., the area is safe, i walked there at night and no problem. it is a residencial area. altought, you don't see anyone in the street at night. very good pizzaria near the hotel., staff of the hotel is helpful and speak english., if i would come here again? it depends! i reserved this the day before arriving rome. it was a last time reservation. all hotels in rome (center) were full., if you are booking with some time, you can get better hotels in the center starting €1

the hotel in general was good. the staff, when they are helping, were very helpful. the "double" bed was infact 2 singles which was slightly annoying when the mattresses slipped.room was cleaned and tidied every day very well.air conditionding was a godsend. there was a gelataria (ice cream shop), pizza shop and supermarket within 1 minute walk. bus dropped you on other side of the road from the hotel. hotel in very safe area as opposed to termini.

family of 4 from melbourne, australia. this is a brilliant place to stay if travelling by car - we didn't want to drive right into rome. on the way in we recommend you stop at the information centre to get directions so you know which exit to take. then keep your eyes open when you are close as cascina palace is quite easy to spot from a couple of blocks away. good undercover parking was provided. it was an easy 3 minute drive to the train station, then about 30 mins to city. room was great - clean & spacious. good little restaurant across the road. games area for kids was good. the breakfast was big and excellent quality. we recommend cascina palace & would go back.

good solid choice for a visit to rome., here are the pluses - good price, great full breakfast (eggs, meat, cheese, pastries, cereal, fruit, good juice, good coffee, yoghurt etc.), clean rooms, excellent location outside the center of rome (2 min walk to bus, 7 min. bus ride, 20 minute subway right to the colosseum or short transfer to vatican), friendly and genuinely helpful staff., only one real negative - air conditioning. the hotel advertises air conditioning but it is weak to non-existent in some rooms. our room for the first two nights had an ac unit that pumped air that was not cool. it was ok but a bit uncomfortable for sleeping at the end of june. the staff seemed genuinely interested in helping and by the 3rd of our 3-night stay we had a cool room. if air-conditioning is important, you may want to call to be certain that yo are placed in a cool room (they do seem to exist).

despite being out of the centre, the hotel was of a higher quality than those in the similar price bracket in the city centre. travelling to and from the hotel was via a bus (no 341) and metro (line b ponte mammolo station) and this varied in duration from 20 minutes to 1 hr depending on the day, time and direction of travel. taxi fare from termini (main rail station) to the hotel was only 15-16 euros (if the driver knows where it is!). overall a very pleasant stay, breakfast was good but you can not just 'pop back' to the hotel for whatever reason due to the travel.

we are a danish couple and we had a very good stay at cascina palace. the staff were very helpfull and always prepared to help. actually we got more help than we ever expected so that was really nice. the room was nice and clean and we didnt hear any noise. fine safe garage to park the car. we did have a lot of trouble finding the hotel though - because the location showed on the map on the site was not correct!!!! very annoying. so if you need directions please use the address and not the map as guideline. the best thing on the hotel was the breakfast buffet which was absolutely phenomenal. nothing missing and with 2 kinds of fresh juice, lots of cakes, croissants, cheese, bread and so on. the best breakfast we ever had in italy! we would recommend this place to family and friends - but not those with children because there are not many public areas for children.

we were visiting rome, and needed a place to sleep and have breakfast, for a reasonable price. as such this hotel met his purpose. although the quality of the bed could be better, it was clean, and also the bathroom was clean, although small. cupboard room was minimal. breakfast was served as a buffet, and was good. the distance to the centre is quite long, but using bus and metro takes about 30-40 minutes. we paid € 70,= per night for the room, 31 may, 1 and 2 of june 2006.

what a great place to stay! after horrible experience in paris, again, (like that is a shock to anyone who has ever been there before) we came to rome and were made to feel right at home immediately. staff were professional and courteous. rooms were clean and comfortable and price was reasonable. breakfast was superb. we can't wait to travel back to rome and when we do we will be staying here again!, only suggestion i would offer would be to explain the tube and bus routes to take from train station to property on web site to help make the trip easier for those not traveling in their own autos.

the property is exactly as described. the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is great. however, there is nothing to do near the hotel, and getting from the hotel to the centre of rome is a pain if you want to stay out late, as the metro shuts early. watch out for it shutting even earlier due to maintanence!, overall i'd recommend this to anyone going to rome on a real budget, but i'd suggest trying to get closer to the centre if you can.

excellent breakfast, especially for italy. security: huge garage, safe in every room (both included), very good and freindly service., near the motorway (g.r.a exit nominitana) 5 minutes by car., underground station about 1 km., at the other side of the hotel you find an excellent restaurant., there's also a big outdoor playground and a nice market near the hotel (5 minutes walk)., time (all by car) to city center 45 minutes (depends on the traffic), 45 minutes to the seaside (lido di ostia) and 30 minutes to the airport fiumicino.

great location, nice room, great breakfast! not too close to hectic center of rome but not far either. our bathtub had some problems and we had to wait one night to get moved to another room. other than that, would definetely stay here.

es un hotel acogedor muy bien ubicado ya que el bus te deja en el metro y te puedes desplazar por alrededor de toda la ciudad, lo puedo recomendar lo pasamos muy bien en nuestra estadia en roma.

the hotel is good, but the location is not. got lost trying to find it the first time. the price was good, but is a long way from downtown.

breakfast is the best among the hotels that i had been stayed in italy for my last holiday., room is the biggest and tidiest also. but location is quite far away from the railway station (i have been travel by 3 lines of buses to get to the hotel).excellent!

this hotel is a good value for rome. the distance to the attractions should not restrain you from booking with it. it takes only around 20-30 min to get to the colliseum, by very easy bus+metro for two euros (round trip). the only downside is that you have to get back before 11:30pm, as the metro closes at that time. the breakfast is wonderful for italian (and international) terms. it more than pays off for the less than friendly, just professional reception. a bit hard to find - ask them for directions before going. overall excellent. i'll definetively book with cascina palace for my next stay in rome.

this was my second time in this hotel, and for the only reason that everything was really good and exactly as per things mentioned on the net. the staff is very friendly and the rates are apt, worth the stay. also security wise i found that the hotel is good. , proximity of the hotel to a bus stop and hence the train network is also good from here, so commuting was never a problem and ideal. i would definitely recommend this hotel to all

per chi arriva dal nord italia in macchina, l'hotel si trova in un ottima posizione, basta farsi 5 km di gra e si è arrivati. inoltre c'è un parcheggio interno gratuito che viene aperto solo su richiesta quindi una maggiore garanzia per le auto custodite. colazione ottima, mai trovata una migliore. camere pulite e silenziose. l'aria condizionata può essere migliorata (non si può regolare). dall'albergo per arrivare in centro con i mezzi pubblici ci vogliono circa 30 minuti, fate quindi i vostri conti. vicino all'albergo c'è una pizzeria al taglio, un ristorante a prezzi contenuti e un supermercato.

buon albergo con un rapporto qualita'/prezzo eccezionale per roma .stanze pulite e di discreta grandezza, colazione ottima ,ricca e molto varia. e' decisamente lontano dal centro e per raggiungerlo sorvono sia bus (che spesso non e' in orario oppure e' stracolmo)sia metro.poco male se si esce la mattina e non si rientra fino a sera

rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo, eccellente la colazione, personale gentile; accesso all'albergo da migliorare e climatizzazione nelle camere un pò "fiacca", ma nel complesso è da consigliare.

tutto quanto avevo letto sulla pagina web riguardo ai giudizi espressi dagli altri ospiti si é rivelato vero. non posso che esprimere un giudizio più che favorevole e mi auguro che possano ripetersi in un prossimo futuro soggiorni in questa struttura, che sebbene sia in una posizione un po' periferica é servitissima dai mezzi pubblici.

la struttura è buona, il rapporto qualità-prezzo, considerato il periodo e i prezzi di roma, è vantaggioso. ci vuole però mezz'ora abbondante per arrivare in centro, se non si usa il taxi. siamo in periferia.

très excentré du centre ville. il faut environ 30 à 40 minutes pour le rejoindre via bus puis métro, ça ne représente pas pour autant un énorme handicap., parking dans l'hôtel gratuit, petit déjeuner copieux et personnel sympa (pour la plupart) font de lui un bon camp de base pour visiter rome à un prix assez correct pour les prestations proposées.

one of the worst hotels i ever stayed in-stay anywhere other than here. in particular the employees were some of the rudest people i ever met.the bus service to the hotel is also pathetic-one evening they just decided not to run at all.

pleasent place, however it is not easy to find. rooms are clean, staff is helpful, however the restaurant can get very busy if you arrive for the breakfast after 8.30.

hotel situato in un brutto quartiere. nelle vicinanze c'è un campo nomadi. gli accessi sono incostuditi. la mattina del primo giorno ci hanno rubato due borse nella sala colazione. l'unica cosa che ha fatto l'addetto alla reception è stata darci il suo appoggio morale e null'altro. e' molto meglio spendere qualcosa in piu' e alloggiare in centro perchè l'hotel è veramente molto distante, e la gente che si incontra sul bus e sul metro nelle stazioni vicine è proprio poco raccomandabile

sicuramente il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono. comodo per raggiungere tutti i posti che mi interessava raggiungere. un commento in particolare sulla colazione: non solo l'offerta al buffet è piuttosto completa (non è facile trovare spesso uova e pancetta o la favolosa pizza bianca e rossa romana)e se solo l'offerta di frutta/macedonia fosse un po' migliore sarebbe eccellente, ma soprattutto mi piace evidenziare la squisitezza e la cortesia della signora responsabile della sala colazioni che ha un approccio al cliente semplicemente stupendo. ci torneremo senz'altro

l'albergo anche se fuori roma è ben collegato con i mezzi pubblici, ma per arrivarci, se non si ha il navigatore in auto è un pò complicato., le camere sono ampie anche se un pò spartane nell'arredamento, la colazione è ottima, cè di tutto e si può chiedere anche altro al bar annesso.comodo il parcheggio sotterraneo da cui si accede direttamente in camera tramite ascensore.unica nota stonata, all'arrivo vi si chiede di fotocopiare la carta di credito; in barba alla privacy ed alla sicurezza. meglio pagare in anticipo in contanti per evitare anipatiche discussioni. comunque siamo stati bene e ci ritorneremmo.

mi aspettavo peggio invece mi ha sorpreso. di solito si dà una immagine superiore a quella reale. devo dire che nulla è stato sopravvalutato ma bensì meritato.

nice place to stay. very complete breakfast (bakery, fruit, even scrambled eggs) in a buffet setting. the only issue we found was the location. there is a small group of stores and a restaurant within walking distance, but that's the extent. the bus is easy to catch with only a 500m walk. you can catch either of two busses; one will take you to the lasy metro stop, the other to the second last. take whichever comes first, but it's easier to return to the hotel if you get off at the second last metro stop and take that bus. room was fine - clean and with enough room. bathroom was the largest we had in italy.

accommodations were very adequate. room was clean. people were very accommodating in getting us a room for an extra night due to a rail strike.

hotel très bien pour le prix, mais loin du centre. le seul avantage est la proximité des transports en commun. pour arriver à la gare termini, il faut compter 30 min en moyenne. un conseil, se lever de bonne heure et prendre un bon bain de foule avec les romains qui vont travailler pour se mettre en forme., le petit déjeuner est la force de cet hotel., les service sont à la hauteur du prix. rien à dire de l'hotel en lui même. si s'était à refaire avec le même budget, nous le referions.

nous déconseillons formellement cet hotel: 1. plan fourni sur le site ne permettant pas de trouver l'hotel,2. accueil extremement désagréable (une caution demandée en supplément da facon tres désagréable, visible suspicion de cette personne envers les reservations sur internet...ayant deja reserve avec venere.com sans aucun probleme, c'est bien la premiere fois que nous avons recu un tel accueil!!), 3. chaleur excessive dans les chambres (visiblement la clim était déréglée). en conclusion (et en dépit du reste du personnel beaucoup plus sympathique le lendemain et d'un bon petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix, ca reste un tres mauvais souvenir!

hotel un pochino distante dal centro ma ben servito dai mezzi pubblici dista circa 40 minuti tra metro e bus dal centro città, fermata metro più vicina ponte mammolo (linea b) e da li albergo prendere il bus 341 dal piazzale antistante la metro ( 6 fermate per raggiungere l'hotel) struttura nuovissima ed accogliete, pulita, silenziosa, ottima ed abbondante la colazione servita, se a questo si aggiunge la gentilezza e la cortesia del personale se ne conviene che e meglio fare un pochino di strada in più ma in cambio alloggerete in una zona tranquilla e per nulla rumorosa. per chi arriva in auto parcheggio gratuito in garage coperto dal gra uscita 13 roma tiburtina policlinico, prendere a sx via tiburtina, subito dopo aver incrociato la fermata metro rebibbia prendere a dx via casal dei pazzi seguirla sino alla fine e poi a dx via galbani e al semaforo subito a sx via benigni, e più difficile a scriverlo che ad arrivarci.

hotel ist echt empfehlenswert. preis/leistung stimmt. es ist relativ neu. das frühstück ist sehr gut und hat ein unüblich großes angebot. im zimmer dürften ruhig zwei drei kleiderhaken mehr hängen und im bad auch eine größere ablage, aber sonst passt es. leider ist das hotel auch groß genug, um schulklassen aufzunehmen. in den 8 tagen wo wir dort waren, sind mehrmals schulklassen an- und abgereist. entsprechend kann es dann nachts etwas lauter werden. insbesonders da die zimmer hellhörig sind. aber das stört nur, wenn man vergißt, dass man auch mal auf einer abschlußfahrt war. wenn man dann auch noch vor lauter rom-besichtigung völlig müde ist, sollte das einschlafen kein problem sein. , gegenüber vom hotel in sichtweite entfernt ein ital. restaurant, wo man zu normalen preisen sehr gut essen kann und nett bedient wird. , zur lage: leider ist man auf die metro b (bis haltestelle ponte mammolo) und busfahrt linie 341 (aussteigen an 6. haltestelle) angewiesen und damit abends etwas gebunden, da man um spätestens 23 uhr sich richtung metro b-haltestelle begeben muss. sonst bekommt man den letzten bus um ca. 23.45 uhr zum hotel nicht mehr. achtung: abends sind in der stadt nicht alle metro-haltestellen geöffnet und man muss evtl. zu größeren haltestellen laufen. selbst im hauptbahnhof termini ist ein abgang zur metro mit gittern um ca. 23 uhr verschlossen gewesen und wir dachten, die metro b hat schon dicht. aber 30 meter weiter ist dann doch ein anderer abgang zur metro offen gewesen. dies könnte kostbare zeit und damit den letzten bus zum hotel kosten! , für nachtschwärmer: falls man abends ausgeht, gibt es auch nachtbusse. allerdings fahren diese nur die haupthaltestellen der metro an (in unserem fall haltestelle p. mammolo). dauert gut und gerne 30-45 min. von p. mammolo aus ist man dann zu fuss ca. 20-25 min unterwegs zum hotel. um den fußweg nachts auch problemlos zu finden, sollte man evtl. morgens mal statt mit dem bus zu fuß den weg zur metrohaltestelle v

das hotel bietet ein sehr gutes preis-leistungs-verhältnis, das frühstücksbüfett ist sehr gut, die zimmer sind ausreichend groß und werden gut gereinigt, leider übernachteten während unseres 5tägigen aufenthaltes auch mindestens drei verschiedene schulklassen in dem hotel, so daß dadurch eine nicht unerhebliche lärmbelästigung entstand, z.b. lautes türenschlagen, lautstarke unterhaltungen auf den etagenkorridoren, sehr lautes klopfen an fremden zimmertüren, nächtliche anrufe von zimmer zu zimmer, wobei leider auch um ca. 02:30 uhr zimmer von anderen reisenden angerufen wurden.im vergleich zu den tagen, an denen keine klassen im hotel nächtigten, war der aufenthalt etwas gestört.

preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt, das hotel ist gut, ein bischen weit von zentrum, aber zu empfehlen.

l'hotel est excellent, même si un peu eloigné du centre de rome, facilement accessible par bus et metro.propre, calme, confortable, avec un petit déjeuner très copieux et delicieux, avec un service sympa et eficace. personnel agreable, à l'écoute des clients, enfin, si nous revenons à rome, certainement nous y resterons encore une fois.

la struttura è ottima, le camere sono spaziose, ben arredate e soprattutto pulite. la colazione è ricca e completa con anche la possibilità di prendere cappuccino e caffè nel piccolo bar situato all'interno della sala. il personale gentile e competente. ottimo quindi il rapporto qualità/prezzo. l'unico inconveniente è la distanza dal centro della città ma i mezzi pubblici offrono un ottimo servizio. siamo stati molto bene.

hotel is spacious, clean and cheap but out of place in its surroundings, breakfast is a little unusual there were many cakes on offer along with the usual bread, cheese and meat selection. on the down side the hotel specifies on website that it hosts a nightclub,bar & resturant which is untrue when you get there the hotel info directs you to a local resturant, fine if you speak fluent italian but if like us you know only a few words then expect to be ignored. a few of the front of house staff were unhelpful, when we asked how to get into rome one lady just waved us towards the street saying you need to get a bus so to help those future guests take a right out of hotel to top of the road take right again and you need a 341 bus which will take you to the metro at ponte mammolo there you can get a 4 euro ticket which gives you all day travel, you need to get metro line b to termini where you change to line a from there you can go north or south to attractions which are on highlighted next to the names of the stops ie cipro musee di vaticano. beware my bag was pickpocketed soon after getting onto the metro by two young children luckily i had heeded the hotel warning and locked my valuables in the room safe. also check when metro is closing as there have been line works for many months now which means the metro closes at approx 8pm which means your left to pay taxi fares (very expensive) to return to the hotel if you wish to stay out which given that there is really only 1 resturant near the hotel it may be worth it.

molto positivo, unico consiglio: quando qualcuno vi chiede come raggiungervi spiegatevi con 1/2/3 a dx/sx e poi il nome della via e non solo con il nome della via perchè per noi che non siamo romani non sappiamo se la via è a dx o sx e una volta presa la corsia sbagliata è un problema ritrovare la strada giusta. grazie

i think for this price this is an excellent value. rooms are clean, spacious and breakfast is extensive. not far from subway only 5 min walk if you walk fast good morning excercise, very good restaurant in front of hotel. i rented a car and free gated and safe parking is additional saving because most hotel give you 5 dollar a day discount so extra 20 euro for other hotel should be added if you want to compare apple to apple. breakfast compared to 200 euro hotel in venezia was better at cascina palace. staff very friendly and helpful. i think no hotel can beat this value only because of 5-10 min walk as you walk in rome whole day anyway.

das hotel liegt außerhalb der altstadt rom´s, ist aber mit den öffentl. verkehrsmitteln in ca. 30 - 40 min. gut zu erreichen. die zimmer sind etwas klein aber sauber. das frühstücksbuffet ist in ordnung,in bezug auf preis/leistung.ich kann das hotel weiter empfehlen.

l'hotel è bello, forse c'è qulache crepa nei muri esterni, e nelle vasche da bagno, ma il tutto è pulitissimo, gli impiegati sono molto cortesi, solo la zona attorno è un pelo fatiscente, ma niente da imputare alla struttura (siamo ad un passo dalle carceri di rebibbia)., molto buono il giudizio della metropolitana, visto che la linea 2 è aperta fino a mezzanotte e forse l'una, mentre la linea 1 chiude alle 21.00 ed il bus ti porta davanti alla fermata in 5 minuti., il primo che si lamenta della colazione, non sa' cosa vuol dire una colazione povera, avevamo addirittura lo yogourt fresco, non quello di marca..... poi, paste, bacon , frittate, the, caffe, cioccolato, la possibilità di avere il cappuccino...., buon soggiorno a tutti quelli che vorranno visitare roma, partendo dal cascina palace..., salutoni

preis-leistungsverhältnis perfekt,zimmer sehr sauber,ich hatte leider das pech sehr laute zimmernachbarn zu haben.zur zeit meines besuchs war das restaurant wegen umbau geschlossen,das personal war aber sehr hilfreich mit tips in der näheren umgebung.

das hotel liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, ist aber sehr gut mit dem bus zu erreichen. das preis-/leistungsverhältnis ist optimal.die zimmer sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet.nur hatten wir etwas pech, weil wir ein zimmer direkt über der reception hatten. wenn das fenster geöffnet ist, wird es teilweise sehr laut, wenn diverse gäste zu später stunde heimkehren und sich noch vor dem hotel für eine zigarettenlänge aufhalten (im hotel herrscht rauchverbot!) aber insgesamt gesehen war alles andere ok. vor allem das frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig, was für italienische verhältnisse nicht gerade normal ist. auf jeden fall würden wir das hotel für die nächste romreise wieder buchen.

hanno abusivamente preteso la fotocopia della carta di credito, ovviamente mi sono opposto e il direttore mi ha aggredito verbalmente dimostrando tutta la sua maleducazione., struttura non adeguata alla legge sulla privacy e trattamento dati (dlgs196/03) fotocopiare la carta di credito è un abuso oltre che può essere un reato. opponetevi!cautelate la vostra privacy se non volete che qualcuno potrebbe farne un uso distorno dei vostri dati. la legge dice che i dati richiesti devono essere essenziali allo svolgimenti dell'attività connessa al fine istituzionale.

e' un albergo consigliabile a chi, arrivando a roma co auto propria, è disposto poi a spostarsi in città con la metropolitana., ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo e la colazione inclusa è molto soddisfacente., una sedia in più nella camera, un appendi abiti e magari anche qualche quadretto sulle pareti disadorne non guasterebbero.

das hotel war wirklich eine gute wahl,zwar liegt es etwas ausserhalb von rom ist aber mit der metro b line bis station ponto mamolo u dann weiter mit bus 341 - 6 stationen gut zu erreichen. das alles dauert von bahnhof termini aus ca. 30 min. verbindungen sind sehr gut & bus fährt direkt unterhalb der metro station ab. allerdings abend 23/30 uhr fährt der letzte bus !! also nachtschwärmer aufgepasst., das zimmer war sauber & die einrichtung gut und nicht verschlissen . frühstück war auch reichlich, sogar mit frischen früchten etc. alles in allem kann ich das hotel nur empfehlen gerade wenn man preis / leistung bedenkt. wir hatten eine gute zeit und ich würde dort wieder übernachten .

naturalmente non posso che parlarne bene, il soggiorno con la mia famiglia è stato molto confortevole, unico inconveniente per chi non usa i mezzi pubblici la distanza dal centro di roma. da ritornarci.

le camere non dispongono di piani d'appoggio/mensole. in bagno non esistono mensole per appoggiare spazzolini/dentifrici e soprattutto non esiste una presa di corrente per il rasoio!!!!

hôtel froid au propre comme au figuré, avons du mal à croire que c'est un trois étoiles. il fait froid dans les chambres et surtout dans le "local" petit déjeuner. on peut prendre les bus (deux fois à droite en sortant de l'hôtel),ils vont tous à la station de metro ponte mammolo. par contre, il est très difficile de revenir de rome le soir en transport en commun surtout au moment de noël. ne pas hésitez à revenir en taxi depuis piazza venezzia (proximité du colisée), il faut compter moins de 15 euros pour un jour férié. a noter, si vous venez en voiture, le plan donné sur le site est grossier et ne vous permettra pas d'arriver à destination.

we were visiting italy with 2 children (a 7 year old and a 3 year old). initially we were bit sceptical about this hotel – after reading all the reviews. overall the experience was excellent. the lady at the counter was very helpful – gave us instructions on taking the bus and metro. we could buy the metro tickets from the desk (4 euro each). the breakfast was not bad – compared to other places we stayed in italy, this hotel breakfast was actually really good. they had croissants, two choices of cereal, cold meat and cheese, range of sweet treats (cakes and pies) , and even a good collection fruits! to drink we had milk, 3 juices (seem to be from concentrate), and great café late/café from a café/cappuccino machine. the best is breakfast is a buffet. the room floors, toilets and bedding were very clean. the walls had marks – but they were normal ware and tear markings - not that much of a problem. the underground car park is great. the only draw back can be the location. we could get to rome destination within 40 minutes are so. the return is tricky. make sure you know when to get down from the bus – the bus is usually jam packed! other goodies - there is a great restaurant (called vini ministri) about 1 km walk from the hotel (turn left and walk on the left hand side of the road) – great food (more locals than tourists). great coffee/ice cream place within 100 meters from the hotel (turn right at the hotel and walk up to the lights and it is on your right hand side) – again more locals than tourists.

está lejos del centro,hay que coger el metro y el autobús, y si no llegas a tiempo puedes tardar una hora en llegar al hotel. el desayuno es demasiado artificial.podían poner una tostadora para el pan, y más panes naturales. el resto está muy bien calidad-precio, excelente.

aloggio frequentemente in questa struttura che ritengo decisamente apprezzabile dal profilo rapporto qualità prezzo anche se, a volte, più elevato. gradevole nel complesso ma comunque distante dal centro, certamente non raggiungibile a piedi. comodo parcheggio copeto e facilmente raggiungibile con l'auto.

prezzo/qualità eccellente. l'hotel è un po' fuorimano ma si arriva al centro di roma con un autobus+metro abbastanza agevolmente. il personale è molto accogliente e disponibile. il garage presenta una discesa un po' troppo ripida: chi possiede un'auto sportiva potrebbe urtare il telaio all'inizio della discesa. concludendo: tornerei in questo hotel ad occhi chiusi.

l'albergo si trova in buona posizione ed è corrispondente a quanto segnalato. il personale è competente e gentile. l'unico neo lho riscontrato all'arrivo quando, stranamente, mi è stata chiesta la carta di credito per essere fotocopiata. io ho rifiutato. per il resto è pulito, la prima colazione è abbondante ed è di sicuro da consigliare

we enjoyed the stay there. it would have been easier for us to reach the hotel by public transports if the bus number and number of bus stops would be shown in the description of the hotel (f.i.underground station ponte mammolo, lower platform, then bus no. 341 for 6 bus stops).

albergo tutto sommato buono, anche se un po rumoroso causa lavori. per 40 euro a notte va piu che bene, per 95, già meno...
