a stay at hotel hi is not for total comfort, but for comfort / experience trade off. the hotel has put room design before comfort but once you take the whole experience in, it is well worth the stay. the rooftop pool area (although pool is quite small and not heated) is a plus, and the downstairs club adds life. the staff are exceptionally friendly considering you are in france and we could not fault them. the breakfast is quite expensive, but again it is worth it to try at least once. while i would recommend this place to friends, i would not recommend it to my mum and dad.

this place is amazing! hi is a new concept in hotels and our room was very contemporary and unique (as each of the different themed rooms and the common areas were). nice was a bit busy and touristy for us (until we discovered the old town and the port areas), so hi was like an oasis and it was extremely relaxing to come back and lye in the pool on the roof overlooking the city. the location is an easy walk to the beach and town. young people would love this hotel - from the cd listening post in reception, to the design books in your room and the organic menu available at the cafe. note that there is no parking available and at 24 euro a day for the parking building, it can get expensive. we also preferred going out for a croissant and coffee than taking them up on the 22 euro breakfast! overall we loved our stay at hi.

a very different and interesting hotel.if you are looking for oppulent luxury then this is not the hotel for you but it is rather relaxing with steam room and whirlpool.if you enjoy the whole organic and 'green' thing then this is the place for you.

we really enjoyed our stay at the hi. it was like staying in a totally different breed of hotels. comfortable, relaxed and efficient., we look forward to staying there again and trying out another of their fabulous rooms!

fantastic rooftop terrace and pool, really friendly staff, and such funky modern rooms !

great funky modern decor, with a groovy bar and outdoor terrace area to the lower floor, makes this hotel really one of a kind. there are loads of different styled rooms (e.g technology rooms full of gadgets & projectors, indoor terrace rooms complete with decked area and plants) to choose from. the staff are very friendly, and helpful, and spoke excellent english. they knew the area really well and recommended us two quite excellent local restaurants. the rooftop terrace is just fantastic with a great sized dipping pool, complete with water beds and sun loungers to laze away the hours. on the lower ground is a self service style organic canteen, so eating isnt a problem, and they have a well stocked bar. funkly ambient electronica plays throughout the day in the background, and most nights the bar area comes to life with a local dj spinning cool funky tunes (he even plays on the roof terrace some nights !) the hi hotel is well positioned, slightly out of the main town, but within 10 mins walking distance of the main restaurants and shops. highly recommended hotel if you fancy something different......and oh.......you better like pink and lime colour schemes !!

staying at hi is a completely different experience which we thoroughly enjoyed - but you have to know the person you a sharing a room with very well!!

this hotel is a little treasure that thankfully i don't think many people have discovered yet! the modern contemporary concept is excellent and is carried through to all the individually designed rooms which were out of this world!, the staff are amazing too. helpful, friendly and familiar to a fault., we will definately be going back to sample another hi concept room very soon!
