oliver, souad (and browny the dog) could not have been more welcoming, it felt like we were staying with old friends.
dar najat is a great base for exploring marrakech - a short walk from both the jema al fna and the bahia palace with the added benefit of a local friend (in oliver) to advise, arrange things and look after us.

we went for a long weekend away in marrakech and found this riad quite by chance, last minute, through trip advisor. oliver was excellent at quick e-mail replies to a few questions we had.
dar najat is an oasis of calm in a noisy city, and it really is only 5mins from the square. our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. very romantic when lit by candle light.
all the staff are very friendly and relaxed, nothing is too much trouble.
breakfast was fantastic, and when we wanted it, no having to get up early.
oliver and his fiance are wonderful hosts, and will help organise, or advise on everything and anything in marrakech.
it really did feel like a home away from home, so relaxed, warm and friendly. would definately stay here again.

riad dar najat is situated just a 5 minute walk from jemaa el fna, the main centre of marrakech. the riad is absolutely beautiful with amazing attention to detail in the decor to provide a truly authentic experience. the staff are wonderful - friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. i would highly recommend this accommodation.

i was very disappointed that had not been told in advance that i could not pay by mastercard. when i reserved the room with venere i was not told this. if it hadn'.t been for my boyfriend having a visa card with him then i would not have been able to pay by card, and i was very cross about this because, had i known, i would have made provision to pay by withdrawing enough cash prior to my departure. i was not aware that i was only able to pay by visa. in future, i think it would be wise to point this out when customers make a reservation using a card which will not be accepted at the residence!
