one of mont dore's most imposing hotels, very easy to find. the rooms are well appointed and the staff are excellent. good value and highly recommended.

staff were falling over to help us, when we arrived our bags were carried upstairs for us by the manageress despite us trying to stop her. we booked a suite on the third floor which had a turret as the wardrobe and a superb walk out balcony area. the hotel has recently been taken over by new management. hopefully soon there will be a bar and restaurant which is all the hotel needs to be truly outstanding. the hotel has a garden and a decked area which would be nice to relax on with a glass of wine. if we return to le mont dore this hotel will be our first choice without even checking the competition.

excellent accueil proprete parfaite

petit hôtel de compagne plus tout jeune mais renové et propre ; on se sent très vite chez soit, un cadre et une vue très jolie, et enfin un accueil chaleureu comme on n’en trouve plus !! immersion auvergnate complète. nous le conseillons pour un séjour loisir, le dépaysement est assuré.

for information: the town le mont dore is kind of a sleepy town with many elderly people. at 10 pm everything (cafés, restaurants, bars) is closed and shut down - good information to know if you expect otherwise.

quand je réserve une chambre d'hôtel sur internet je souhaite qu'elle soit fonctionnelle. l'exemple le plus négatif est une cabine de douche trop petite où l'on ne pas se plier pour se laver les pieds (personne de corpulence normale).
