nous avions réservé deux chambres à l'hotel. dans une d'elle, l'air climatisée était tellement bruyant que nous avons dû nous en passer et endurer le bruit de la rue. le stationnement est insuffisant (quelques places seulement) par contre nous avions de bons lits.

simple hotel. friendly service. rooms were ok, small and generally tidy, though i think after we included the cost of the breakfast and parking, i think you should aim to pay no more than 70 or so euros for the room. cheap and cheerful otherwise.

hotel molto vecchio mai rimodernato. gli spazi comuni sono quasi inesistenti. per i servizi offerti i prezzi sono troppo elevati e a mio giudizio non si aggiudica più di due stelle.

the location of the hotel agata is excellent; a short walk to the port and the old city.
in a summertime a small refrigeratior in every room would be very nice.
it is so easy to get a bus to monaco direction just in front of the hotel.
you´ll get a nice sea view for some extra fee. it was not mentioned during booking but it is worth paying it.

the hotel was clean but in need of decoration in some places. however the room & bathroom were clean and the bedding was clean. room was small. good view from balcony towards sea. air-con an advantage. helpful staff. we didn't have breakfast. useful that the hotel has parking/garage. 5-10 minute walk downhill to restaurants by the port which was good. not a central hotel but bus stops right outside to go to port/centre or mont boron in the opposite direction. hotel agata was ok for cheap 1/2 night stay. wouldn't like to have stayed any longer.

the hotel was very nice, clean and we had a view of the sea from our balcony. we were able to catch the bus to monaco right outside the hotel door. the only drawback is that the hotel is a long was away from the train station and the center of town - we had to walk a ways whenever we went out.

the hotel is absolutely ok for this cost. an additional 20 eur per night was required for a room with sea view and also more quiet, away from the traffic. as for going to nice centre we walked down to the harbour, 5 min, and took the bus no. 9 or 10. then its ok to walk back to the hotel along the promenade des anglais.
* also i would give thanks to venere for their excellent hotel ordering service on the internet.

delays at airport ment we arrived very late and the check-in was great considering the late hour (0300). the hotel was clean and well run, the staff was very good and the service excellent. the first room was at the front of the hotel and may have been a little noisy, compensated by the view which was good. we were moved to a back room because the first room was not the type we booked. less view but more quiet. the main bus service to monaco (which has stunning views if you sit on the right side of the bus going to monaco) and nice stops right out side the hotel which is very convienent. the old port is just down the main road so going down is no trouble. even coming back after a hard days sightseeing is not too bad. if you have bad mobility then the bus service into the main bus station is very good.
breakfast is good enough to set you up for the day.
thank you to all the staff for makeing our stay great, would recommend this hotel anytime.
