not seasoned travellers (first time holiday without kids for 20 years!). special anniversary - perfect hotel - perfect destination. luca (on reception desk) was excellent! great local knowledge and advice and fantastic restaurant recommendation. easily within walking distance of all top sites, and rooftop bar was wonderful for panoramic/intimate view of rome.

great location central to all interesting places and easy to walk to even with kids, lots of nearby good restraunts etc.., hotel has of high standards of fittings etc and i would would go back next time, staff spoke good english, their limo minibus back to airport was 75 euro for family of 5

lovely hotel in the right location. we walked all over rome from our hotel. the staff was always so welcoming when we came downstairs. this was a great place to stay.

my wife and i enjoyed our visit to rome. this hotel made our stay very special. our hotel room overlooked the pantheon and piazza. it was conveniently looked to the trevi fountain, spanish steps, and piazza naovona. the property was clean and well staffed.

fuimos a roma a celebrar nuestras bodas de plata. sin saberlo, el personal del hotel nos trataron como si estuvieran enterados de ello. desde la llegada al aeropuerto, todo funcionó perfectamente. el hotel está situado en el mejor sitio de roma, cerca de todo. los alrededores, incomparables. magnífico ambiente, seguro, accesible a todos los monumentos y sitios de interés. al lado, la mejor cafetería (la tazza de oro) y la heladería más antigua y mejor (giolitti). la terraza del hotel, impagable. abrir la ventana de la habitación sobre el pantheón, inolvidable. amabilidad de todo el personal, incluido el encargado de mantenimiento. cuando volvamos a roma, esperamos que pronto, será al mismo hotel.

the service at the front desk was great. the maid service was great. i loved this place.

we stayed because of reviews on trip advisor and they were spot on correct. the hotel and staff were great and extremely helpful. they directed us very accurately to all of the historical spots we wanted to see. the breakfast very good. our only complaint was the air conditioning which by us standards was sub par but was probably good to excellent by european standards. we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. one of the complaints that i had read was the lack of a restaurant in the hotel, hay this is no problem at all since there are probably 100 good restaurants within a couple of blocks of the hotel.

location is the main reason i stayed here. but the hotel itself is great also. room was adequately sized but great view and perfectly good sleep.

pity the breakfast was a bit sparse. that'.s the only thing. for the money i would'.ve expected better here. no fresh fruit salad for eg.

great hotel. we booked a deluxe room, and received a room on the top floor with french windows overlooking the pantheon (see picture). location is great, and the rooftop bar has a great view as well. would definitely stay here again!

we spent five nights at the hotel del senato end of july, beginning of august. the staff was fantastic. location amazing. and del senato is the perfect place to return to after roaming the streets of rome.

hotel is in the middle of it all! bar on the rooftop is a great way to see the top of the city. on a clear day you can even see the vatican. piazza in front is always active, but you couldn't hear a sound from our room which faced onto the street. a great place to stay.
