das badezimmer war eng und roch sehr muffelig. es gab so gut wie gar kein frühstück (löslicher kaffee und trockene kekse). eine große enttäuschung! aufräumen? weihnachten ist öfter!! parkplatz sollten wir selber suchen. zustand des zimmer war ok, die besitzerfamilie recht freundlich.

the room was quiet and very clean, the location of the b&.b is also perfect, metro station is about 300 meters far from the house.

our stay at alberone with franco &. his family was most enjoyable.we were made extremely welcome,franco offered free use of his phone when we were having problems with our email,he recommended places to eat, shop etc. &. always gave explicit directions very patiently. no problems with english language, in fact no problems at all, we would thoroughly recommend this venue.

lovely, homelike setting with private entrance to two rooms and a shared bathroom. room was fresh and bright with a small balcony overlooking the street. family was friendly and extremely helpful. pleasant breakfast area with basic breakfast. very conveniently located away from tourists, but close to the metro that connects cheaply and frequently to every major tourist location. local street market down the block on saturday morning. excellent, reasonably priced restaurant on the same block.

you stay in a room in this families apartment. you do not have your own bathroom in your room but share it with whoever may be staying in the other room. (2 room available) the breakfast is very basic, a crossiant with jam and coffee.the owner is very friendly and knowledgable about rome and italy. the property can be a little difficult to find about a 10 min walk from the metro and about a 20min train journey into main sightseeing area (eg colesseum).
although not advertised the owner may let you use his washing machine to do laundry and will let you use the internet both free of charge but is only available when he is home and not late at night (as these facilities are in his live in area)

it was a little bit difficult to find this b&b. the problem is that the name of the square ia not shown. even people in this area had some difficulties to say where it is. it's on the 4th floor, you can try elevator (very small, so it was fun to go inside).
b&b is half of appartments of 1 family, so you have a door to another part. nobody bothers you. usually you have breakfast at the very nice terrace in the part of family. if you want yuo can have it in your room. you can use owner's computer without any problem. b&b is situated on an orange mtro line, so it's very easy to get from ciampino. for these money they ask for this b&b comparing to other it was great save. next time i would stay there for sure.

a very special, comfortable and clean place

a very welcoming family owned b&b - a condo apartment with two rooms and one bathroom. about 30-40 minutes walk from coleseum, or 15 minutes bus/subway ride.
worth mentioning that subway line closes at 9 at night and is replaced with bus m1a/b that stops at the same stops as the subway would, but it's more challenging to find the right stop as it's getting dark at the time. i wasn't using subway anyway during my 3 day visit except for the first and the last day going back to the train station with the laggage. walking is the best mode of getting around in rome, if the weather permits.

very nice, kind and good people (franco and his wife) and excellent service.

spotless rooms, everything as shown in the web page. as we arrived the owner was not there but left us a notice on the bell and a neighbour showed us into the room. good value for rome and the neighbourhood is absolutely safe and relatively quiet (very quiet in rome standards). breakfast is either served in the house or if you are not an early riser in a bar 2 minutes away. we suggest to try the restaurant next door "la zingarella". loads of food (don't order the main course unless you have seen the size of the pasta dishes) at reasonable price, local people and very friendly staff.
stanza perfetta, tutto come indicato sul sito. quando siamo arrivati il proprietario non c'era, ma ci ha lasciato un biglietto sul campanello e un vicino ci ha fatto vedere la stanza. buon rapporto qualità prezzo per roma, la zona è assolutamente sicura e relativamente tranquilla (molto tranquilla per roma). la colazione viene servita nella stanza o, se ci si sveglia tardi, in un bar a due minuti di distanza. suggeriamo di provare il ristorante accanto "la zingarella". cibo in quantità (non ordinate il secondo prima di avere visto la dimensione dei primi) a prezzi ragionevoli, clientela locale e personale molto gentile.
