kultururlaub, 7 tage, das zimmer war extrem klein und laut, der balkon völlig verschmutzt, die bar ungebührlich teuer, höhere preise wie am domplatz, schlechter unfreundlicher barservice usw. preis-leistung stimmt nicht, hotel hat nichts mit Ökohotel zu tun, falscher eindruck auf homepage erweckt, wir haben nur deswegen dieses hotel gebucht! staubige bettdecken, duftstoffe im foyer, normales frühstücksangebot, Öko ist anders!(allergiebettwäsche, staubfreis ambiente,usw.) normales tv programme ohne deutsches programm,
werden diese hotel nicht mehr buchen und auch nicht empfehlen!

excelente situation pour visiter milan, avec un parking de l'.hotel permettant de laisser la voiture pendant le sejour...et de se deplasser à pieds ou avec les transports urbains.
chambres donnant sur la rue bruyantes...dès 6 h du matin et tard le soir.
petit déjeuner de trés bonne qualité.

hotel is situated just right down via torino (connecting the hotel with piazza duomo: with a good pace you walk this street in less than 7 minutes). a lot of shops and amenities in the surroundings.
room is small but who needs a bigger room when travelling anyway?
staff was corteous, and the breakfast was very good, serving excellent coffee and cappuccino, freshly-baked croissants etc. italian newspapers were a welcoming bonus.
in the middle of summer, i found their rates quite a bargain for the price and location. will probably stay here again in my future trips to milan.

i had a single room for 2 nights which was fine. it was a single bed but very comfy. the bathroom was clean and a good size. although the room looked small at the start, i found there was plenty of space and the balcony was also a good size.
the double room that a couple stayed in seemed small - only one person could pass by the end of the bed at once. the bathroom had a bath in but the balcony was about a third of size of one with single room.
although we didn't use it, the hotel bar looked good, and the lounge area was well equipped and air conditioned, which was very much welcomed after walking around in the heatwave.
the only problem was the air conditioning in the double room which made a noise all the time and was not cold, no matter on the setting. the receptionist did get someone to look at it but it was still noisy. however we didn't push to change rooms which we should have done.
it is near to the duomo and only a short walk from the nearest metro. there are loads of shops/cafes/bars on the road leading up to the hotel but the rooms are quiet.
we had a very enjoyable stay in milan and we would definitely go back and stay at the ariston.

excellent location for exploring the centre of milan. offers an impressive variety of quality breakfast choices. not quiet though - my room faced towards a street where the trains run and was very noisy all through the day and night.
