the location is very handy yet away from the hustle of the central st. mark'.s square. charming neighborhood with local cafes and shops. easy walk through very interesting dorsoduro area on the way to rialto. very close to must-see peggy guggenheim museum and ca'. rezzonico.
the hotel was immaculately clean and well-appointed, rooms are impeccable, spacious and modern. breakfast area and staff was comfortable but uninspired.
nicolas the host was very helpful with dinner recos. especially good dinner experience at nearby taverna trovaso - wonderful cuisine and affordable by venetian standards.
would not hesitate to stay there again.

c'.est un très bel petit hôtel, très bien situé dans venise : proche des vaporettos des zattere et de l'.academia.
le personnel est très gentil et compétent.
la chambre est typique et de très bonne qualité. la douche avec le système de jets est très appréciable, après une bonne journée de marche.

excellent small hotel in a quiet, untouristy location, with prices - for venice - reasonable. breakfast could have been rather better though, perhaps with some fruit or croissants. we will certainly stay here again on our next trip to venice.

this was our first time to venice. the room was very large with a sitting area that could be separated by curtins. the washroom facilities were very clean, but the shower had a broken shower head holder. the hotel is located off the beaten path and could be hard to find in the dark if you didn'.t know where to go. loved this hotel and will definitely reserve for our next visit.

despite arriving at 1am we were made very wecome at the hotel. we did need to call a phone number to summon the manager so a mobile phone was essential in this situation.
the hotel is on a very quiet street which was exactly as illustrated in other reports on the venere website. there did seem to be some renovations going on in the flat below which made mornings a little noisy.
despite being on the opposite side of the grand canal from piazza san marco it was only 10mins away by tragehetto and on foot.
we would certainly use this hotel again.

large room, very well decorated, and very pleasant stay. the only negatives are that the in-bath jacuzzi didn'.t work, and the holder for the shower spray was broken.

klein,süß,ruhig, alle sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. sehr zu empfehlen

ein sehr nettes kleines hotel in einer äußerst ruhigen gepflegten wohngegend und doch ist man in knapp 5 minuten an der accademia-brücke und mitten im touristischen getümmel. die zimmer sind sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit einem wunderbaren flair, das dem gast historische zeiten nachempfinden lässt, ohne angestaubt zu wirken. die sanitären einrichtungen sind sehr neu und sauber. der service sehr nett und familiär. das frühstück entspricht dem italienischen standard. - wer auf wurst, käse und obst partout nicht verzichten kann, der sollte sich auf die vielen frischen leckeren und preiswerten snacks, die überall unterwegs angeboten werden, freuen.
noch ein tipp zur anreise mit dem flugzeug. sehr komfortabel, da ohne umsteigen und auch vom ankommen in venedig sehr reizvoll: man nimmt die "rote linie" (linea rossa) der alilaguna bis zur endstation "zattere" (abfahrt immer viertel nach um - der saisonale fahrplan lässt sich auf der homepage der alilaguna in englisch abrufen. fahrzeit ca. 1 ¼ stunde über murano, lido und st. marco. kosten: 12 euro p.p.). von der anlegestelle "zattere", die sich auf höhe der gesuati-kirche befindet, geht man ca. 250 meter den zattere entlang. an der kirche spirito santo links abbiegen, durch eine sehr schmale gasse gelangt man nach ca. 100 metern direkt in die breite rio terra san vio, die sich linkerhand erstreckt. es ist auch mit der karte aus einem normalen reiseführer sehr leicht zu finden. zumindest haben wir uns nicht verlaufen.
wir empfehlen das hotel - nicht zuletzt auf grund des super preis-leistungs-verhältnisses uneingeschränkt weiter und werden auch bei unserem nächsten venedig-aufenthalt gern wieder hier einchecken.

ich hatte 5 tage mit meinen beiden töchtern (14j. und 17 j.) im ca del brocchi verbracht. begeistert waren wir vor allem von der wunderschönen barocken einrichtung, dem großen bad und dem süßen kleinen balkon (ich glaube, wir hatten das einzige zimmer mit balkon). ich persönlich genoß die nächtliche ruhe sowohl im hotel selber als auch in den gassen der umgebung. dennoch liegt das hotel mit 5 gehminuten zur accademia-brücke sehr zentral. der service war sehr sehr freundlich, die sauberkeit hervorragend. lediglich im frühstücksraum saßen wir manchmal zu dritt an einem winzigen tisch etwas eng. das früchstück ist typisch italienisch, aber ausreichend, da meine kinder sowieso eher frückstücksmuffel sind.
ich kann das hotel gut weiterempfehlen. auch der preis ist ifür venetianische verhältnisse wirklich o.k.

the hotel was exactly as we had expected from reading the reviews on this and other web sites - quiet, nicely decorated, convenient to walk to the main sites. it was easy to find from zaterre boat stop. it is very close to the peggy guggenheim museum and the academia.
it represents good value for money. the only slight negative is that the breakfast is just ok - the same each of the three days we were there. just a little vari
