main problem with this property is its location 1/2 block off nevsky prospekt, above a vacant storefront in a corner-building that makes it difficult to find (along w/ a very small sign). second problem is that after you're buzzed into the foyer inside the heavy steel front door, the first thing that greets you is the smell. once you've gotten to the 2nd floor hotel, however, all's well - newly remodeled, clean, friendly staff, and a reasonably good location for a decent price.
