le personnel est très soucieux de notre bien être... la salle de bain était très spacieuse et acceuillante et la chambre cosy...le petit déjeuner était copieux et très très bon!
 les parois entre les chambres trop fine

la situation idéale de cet hotel, au coeur de la vielle ville . pour les visites touristiques à proprement dit, les bus (tickets à l'hôtel) et tramways offrent un maximum de possibilités et sont disponibles à 20m de l'hôtel, le funiculaire menant aux rives du douro à 50m, tandis que la station de métro ".bolhao". à 200m(ruecatarina).restaurant de l'hôtel excellent et à prix modérés.

situation de l'hotel
1/ accès en voiture très difficile quand on ne connait pas la ville. après avoir tourné 45 minutes nous avons du garer l'auto et trouver l'hotel à pied 2/ chambre et salle de bain trop petites par rapport au standing de l'hotel

great location, right in the centre of everything. we arrived late evening and didn t like the fact that we had a twin bed rather than double. we asked to change the room and the receptionist was very helpful and offered an alternative room. reception was also happy to help us with booking wince cellars trip and informed us of good places to visit in port. breakfast selection was very good and tasty! i definitely recommend this hotel.

felt comfort and safe particularly during days where i was staying on my own. the hotel staff were very helpful, courtesy and ready to provide information about places to eat, visit and travel. first class!!
yes, i felt that storage could have been better planned (the mini bar and safe were in the wardrobe area) and this made storing belongings a little tight - however, everything else was excellent!!!!.

you had to walk down the whole slope to get to the river area with the restaurants and then all the way back up to the hotel.....

the hotel is very well located. by footh you can reach the entire historical center. the bedroom is rather small but has a good king size bed with the heardest pillows i have ever slept on.
please explain how is it that a 4* hotel has a garage that is a shad? the hotel has more than 100 rooms, and yet the garage barely holds 10 cars (the alternative parking is far from the hotel). plus you have to find a place to park the car, go in the hotel and ask in the reception for someone to open the garage door. very poor service for ?7,00 / day car park.
