location is great for sight-seeing. hotel inventar appears to have come from 1001-nights. we seem to have been assigned the best room of the hotel, with small balcony, facing the (quiet) street

loved the breakfasts--food and views. it was amazing how quickly we learned to get around in our sightly larger than bed (a good one) sized room!

we stayed in the newly acquired house (deniz konak hotel). stuff were very friendly and extremely helpful in solving all kinds of problems. we had a nice room with a fantastic view of the marmara sea. breakfast was wonderful - local style, always fresh. we just loved the roof terrace with its views to the harbour and the sultanahmet mosk. our only problem was the local railway line that passes just behind the building, making nights a bit noisy. nevertheless, a very good location.

la prima notte ci hanno mandato in un altro hotel perché nella nostra stanza si era rotta l'.aria condizionata (almeno così hanno detto... sarà vero o forse la camera era già impegnata?? qualche dubbio mi è rimasto!!)
il posto è carino, pulito e la colazione abbondante servita sulla terrazza (dalla quale si intravede la moschea blu dietro gli altri palazzi).
il personale non mi è sembrato particolarmente socievole.
non c'.è il l'.ascensore.
la nostra camera era molto piccola, però in effetti era come si vede nella foto, quindi niente da reclamare.
la posizione è abbastanza buona, però si trova in discesa e abbastanza distante dalla strada principale in cui passa il tram. con le valige, a piedi dalla fermata di sultanhamet è una discreta sfacchinata, soprattutto il ritorno in salita, anche a causa del fondo stadale fatto di sanpietrini sconnessi e del caldo estivo soffocante!!
tenendo conto di tutto, mi sento comunque di consigliarlo.

friendly hotel in a lovely part of the city not far from the main sites. sea view available but comes at the price of a noisy train line.

we had stay at the hotel for 4 nights. the first three they give us a small small double room in another structure 100m away from sulthan'.s inn.
the sheets weren'.t clean and the room was very claustrophobic.
last night we passed in istambul they give us a room in the sulthan'.s inn and was clean and much more confortable then the first one. so be sure to have a room there when you booking.

hi all, i stayed with my friends - 4 girls - at sultan'.s inn from 10th to 15th of august. the hotel is really nice, rooms are pretty and clean. i ate the best yoghurt i'.ve ever eaten in my life, having breakfast on the hotel'.s pretty small terrace..just besides the wonderful blue mosquee. the staff is good, but not too..".expressive"...at our arrival, the guy told us that we had to stay in his sister'.s hotel (5 minutes walking..), but after a quiet complaint, things were ok and we stayed at sultan'.s...mah!
anyway, i recommend this hotel, is so close to everything you can see in istanbul!!

the rooms are quiet clean but the bathroom are old and the sanitaries are not good

leider wurden wir in einem banchbarten hotel, das zwar zur gleichen hotelgruppe gehört, untergebracht. es war von den leistungen her gut, doch korrekt fand ich es nicht, denn ich habe definitiv sultans'.s inn gebucht und wurde vorher nicht gefragt.

they say they have computer available for guests, but it was the reception one, the one they use...
we stayed 3 night, and other 3 at the end of our journey, as we felt very well there

j'.ai été très déçue de réserver dans cet hotel pour m'.apercevoir sur place qu'.il était complet et que nous avons été replacé dans un hotel voisin :
- très très bruyant
- avec des lits jumeaux au lieu d'.un grand lit
ce n'.est pas parce qu'.on réserce au sultan inn qu'.on va au sultan in!!!

it was ok. the hotel was nothing fantastic, but for the price it was sufficient. very pleasant staff.

although i only stayed one night, the room was really comfortable with an excellent shower/batheroom. lovely reception area and breakfast terrace on the roof. would definitely book again. no lift so probably unsuited to older or disabled travellers.

the room was extremely small but functionnal and clean. very good location. breakfast was excellent, the best yogourt i ever had!

the hotel is well located, close to most turistic places. staff are friendly, in special mr. yuseff. regarding cleaniness, only the towels were changed, the floor or toillets never were tidy up. breakfast was ok, although could be improved with some hot meals.
