marvellous location directly at the beach next to the king's palace. convenient bus connection to the town center of palma de mallorca right in front of the hotel. takes a good 20 minutes (more than one would expect according to the web page). we would return to this place at any time.

despite there being so few people in the hotel the staff could not have been more accommodating. first room had twin beds (not requested) so immediately moved to a large double room with seaview. after two nights were informed there would be a big party in a function room nearby and asked if we would like to move to a superior room. did so and room bigger and with even better view! next stop the penthouse, we thought, but alas not there for long enough! room service excellent, could even order dishes not on it after a request, and the food was of a very high quality. hotel is out of palma in cala major, very close to motorway and on a main bus route to the city centre. small shops nearby still open off season with drinks, food etc. a lot of restaurants closed but to be expected. all in all very impressed and would return.

great hotel and facililities. the location next to the sea with small secluded beach is really excellent. great spa facility too, with very helpful staff. however, the indoor pool is tiny and not suitable for actually swimming in. the hotel has a gym, but it is small and sparsely equipped. good enough for a few days though. cleaning and poolside bar staff were very good. other staff could be rather unfriendly, we found. the restaurants by the outdoor pool and beach are both very good with a good selection of dishes, sensibly priced. breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is a highlight and we enjoyed this each day. the hotel garages your car each night, but this costs 15 euros and you have to ask to get your car back each time you want it. only a nuisance if you are in a hurry!

the hotel is very well located, just on the beach of cala major. however, the hotel itself was disappointing. we booked a "standard room" and got a small, dark and noisy accomodation. we tried to change but was so complicated and poorly organised that we gave up. the pool is very small and not really usable. overall, i believe this hotel is overrated.

ich war sehr überrascht wie schön das hotel gebaut ist, diese sehr schönen möbel im foyer im essal sowie im zimmer und die wunderschöne aussicht auf den strand und hinaus ins meer, einfach wunderschön !!!!!!!! das frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet und verdient die beste note. ich werde dieses hotel wieder besuchen und freue mich jetzt schon darauf.

we had stayed previously at this property, and were therefore most unhappy we were not told the pool was unavailable, and that there was building work from 8 in morning to 8 in evening. no mention was made.
an item of clothing was taken from our room, and when reported to staff twice, no effort or real interest was shown. in our view even though it was not expensive, it had sentimental value, staff could have been concerned that this type of thing could happen. we will not go back because of this attitude.

i was very impressed with the location and service at the hotel. food was great and the staff very friendly. highly recommended.

for once, the photographs and the hotel match! the relationship to the water was excellent. the views from the room was superb. my only coment would be that some guests got up at 0600 and took claim to the majority of lounges by the pools. there should be a policy that if the lounge isn't occupied by a specific time, it is free game... some stayed empty until after 1200.

excellent hotel, a bit further from the town centre than suggested (off most of the street maps) and coffee a bit weedy, but otherwise great with big, clean, well appointed room with patio sized balcony, lovely sea views. very quiet in january. staff all friendly and very helpful. good breakfast (apart from the coffee) and evening meals. indoor pool very relaxing. we'd go there again.
