hotel didn't have our reservation details initially - took them a while to find them. rooms were old and noisy, there wasn't even a mini bar and you call that a 5-star hotel? service was poor.

informative and helpful front desk staff. no traffic noise due to well insulated balcony doors. well equipped bathroom. ideally positioned for bus or tram travel. internet service with printing was easily available and although it was not free perhaps this is why i did not have to queue? free access can often lead to hogging of the stations.

a guest was locked out of her room onto the balcony, on the floor above me. i contacted the desk when i heard her call for help, and they assisted her immediately, but did not follow up with me in any way. i was concerned about the guest, and would have appreciated a follow up. but no big deal. all ended well.

the situation right in the centre of athens. we took the metro from the airport then walked across the square into the hotel in seconds.there was lots going on and we were at the hub of it. sheets changed every day - towels twice a day !! fantastic - will go again.

spacious room with a view
some fixtures (sockets, switches) are poorly maintained and old

i liked the fact that they put hand towels, appart from the face and bath towels.
i did not like the fact that there was no coffee maker in the room.
also the hair dryer is not a covinient one. a regular one that you can move in the room would be a lot more convinient.
