 le restaurant : les ".prima plati". ne sont pas aussi bons qu'ils en ont l'air sur la carte et le personnel n'est pas très aimable, ils ont conscience que la majeur partie des clients qu'ils servent sont, à majorité des touristes, donc des gens de passage, et n'offrent donc pas un service auquel on s'attend pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, dommage.

perfect geographical location very close to city downtown.
qualtity vs price is exceptionnal.
globally a good hotel with good service. food is fresh (homade cakes at the breakfast. i also tried the restaurant and the quality vs price is also quite good.
only one regret: unfortunately, the landscape around the hotel is not really romantic.

lovely grounds and surrounds, restaurant food was fab and very reasonably priced, main course ?10-14 bottle of wine ?10. meal out for two less than ?50 all in including starter.
a bit too far from the city. needed to contact reception for a second pillow as there was none in the press.

bologna is an excellent for exploring emilia-romagna. the hotel is just outside the city centre, in a quiet suburb, but handily located for the bologna bypass. direct bus route at the end of the street into the city centre.
the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. we found this hotel to be excellent value for money. the breakfast was very good and the attached restaurant was superb.

we like everything about this hotel, since we first saw it on the website. the room was superb and classy (as everything else in bologna) and the foods were excellent. it was beyond our expectation that our dinner at the hotel would be so rewarding and considerably not as expensive as in the city. it was nice really to have booked this hotel though booking.com and received rooms with balcony (perhaps some of the best rooms in the hotel).

hotel was excellent. the breakfast included
everything. there was nothing that was missing
and the breakfast staff was excellent.
we also went to the restaurant garganello and that was also excellent. the only negative is that the hotel is 15minutes from the central part of bologna but that was not a real problem because there was the autobus near the hotel.
