 small, cramped. the decor was dated. bed was uncomfortable. the walls were paper thin and you could hear what was being said in the next bedrooms. there was a constant over powering smell of air fresherners.

good parking, easy to find, run my a really friendly couple. i'll stay again when in the area.
really nit picking - the wall mountd tv was too close to the desk, and too close to my head .)
the hotel looks larger in the photo, but this is not a problem, until you almost drive past looking for a bigger building. excellent breakfast. for evening food, the bistro just down the hill is recommended.

very friendly welcome. our room was good, if a little on the small side. the bed was excellent - all the couples in our group remarked on the good nights sleep they had each night. the breakfast was first class.
a group of 7 s spent a very nice weekend here recently. the owners are very friendly and helpful - recommending and booking restaurants, and generally helping out.
our room, although a little on the small side, was very comfortable - as was the bed. everything worked properly, the shower was excellent - powerful and hot. the breakfast was also excellent - good quality produce with very little fat or grease.

the hotel staff where very friendly and polite.when we arrived we had a warm welcome and they where very helpful.
there was only one thing that disapointed me was the honours bar no price list didn,t known what prices we where payingfor our drinks is this legal.
we had no faults at all with the hotel apart from the bar prices,

very clean, very friendly hotel the owners made you feel very welcombe and the breakfast was 1st class.
the hotel location was perfect overlooking porthbeach, lovely hotel very clean, staff very friendly and service excellent. breakfast was lovely and hot . i stongly reccomend anyone to stay at this hotel the owners made you feel very wlcombe noththing was too much bother for them. location.relaxed friendly atmosphere.clean and tidy
nit picking but no bath in room and my 2yr old hates having a shower
we arrived early sat evening 6pm ish and were made to feel very welcome as soon as we checked in.we were shown where everything was and told breakfast times and allowed to settle in .our room was very nice, clean and tidy.breakfast as lovely well served in the conservatory/ breakfast room with views across the beach . parking is to the rear of the hotel and is safe and well lit at night. all in all our 4 night stay at the windward hotel as very relaxing and helped make our first trip to cornwall a pleasurable one. we intend to go back sometime soon and intend to stay at this hotel again (source : Activehotels.com - Avis The Windward Hotel)
