hotel in a quiet side street - no road noise. our room - 106 was huge with dual aspect - lovely! we only stayed 2 nights but it was certainly well positioned for sight seeing particularly the colosseum. hotel seems to be next to the interior ministry and when we stayed there was a 24 hour police-presence just down the road. do take advantage of the transportation to and from the airport offered by the hotel - an excellent service and 20 euros cheaper than a taxi. good breakfast but small dining room that is crowded when busy - better in summer as there is also an outside dining terrace which looked great.

we stayed in a twin room with en suite. very clean and up to date. had problem with door and shower, repair man came very quickly and rectified the matter. hotel was central and within walk of most major sites. room was quiet even though over looking the street. bonus we were next to one of the balconeys.

this hotel was in a very quiet location, not far from the railway station. it was very quaint and had a great rooftop area to take a bottle of wine, sit and take in the view. the room was a bit shabby and small but sufficient. the shower as in most hotels was average but at least it worked. most of the staff were very helpful and courteous and we particularly liked the waiter who served breakfast, he was a character.breakfast could also be taken on the terrace outside, which was a nice touch.

l'.hotel a solo una cosa di positivo è silenzioso e tranquillo,facile da raggiungere dalla stazione termini (anche a piedi). le camere sono datate come tutta la struttura, il bagno è osceno e la pulizia generale mediocre.la colazione è scarsa e il personale discretamente cortese.non era il nostro primo viaggio a roma e ritorneremo ancora ma non in questa struttura.

the hotel was comfortable and clean. however 2 of the 3 reception staff were not particularly friendly and one of the breakfast staff could do with more customer service training. i was aware of similar comments from reviews that i had read before booking so i was not entirely surprised.

l'hotel è molto carino ha parte un piccolo inghippo.. ma poi risolto(nn cè il garage).tutto è andato come da copione,io e giorgio siamo stati benissimo, compresa atmosfera romana che è favolosa...! possiamo consigliare questo hotel alle persone che hanno voglia di vivere , amare, e visitare....... ciaooo.

we were originally booked into the hotel viminale, but when we got there they were full. they had a cab pick us up and take us to the hotel torino and they put us into a very nice room. the staff was great and every care and attention to detail was taken care of. leonardi hotels are family run and from what i was able to find out - they don't like screwing up. buffet is a#1.

satisfactory overall, with a decent price/quality ratio (well, almost as far as you can go in rome).
somewhat poor welcoming and reception service, in particular if you are not comfortable with the "roman attitude" but, on the other side, breakfast service was warm and cheerful (and breakfast more than decent as well).
clean + quite rooms, and great location walking distance from termini station and colosseum.

i enjoyed very much my stay in rome, and this hotel. the location is perfect for tourism and business. all the nice monuments are in walking distance, and the hotel is very near to the metro station (both termini and cavour).
i ve chosen the hotel in conformity with all the positive feedbacks on this page, and i wasn t disappointed. by the way: the hotel rooms look much nicer than in the photo on the web site :). the negative feedbacks are not justified.
i will definitely choose this hotel again!

overall the room was comfortable with a nice balcony. the breakfast garden was lovely.
the lack of a shower curtain or screen made the bathroom a bit wet!

we, ie. 2 mature couples (mid six'ties) visit interesting cities all over europe for extended week-ends. this spring it was rome.
hotel viminale is not in the nearest neighborhood to pantheon but close to colosseum and capitol.
furthermore we fond plenty minor and "honest" italian albergos in the area / less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel, best a bit south of via cavour.
