 very nice room, pretty and clean. personnel were very friendly and helpful.
 small showers but that's not unusual for france (unless you're staying at an expensive hotel)
had a lovely little room for my visit to paris. not centrally located but well within metro/bus/walking distance to all the important tourist sites. very personable staff and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

the area is a bit grimy but that gives it character as well - fantastic food markets just around the corner and good bars and cafes locally. the rooms on the street are big enough (for paris 3* so still smallish) but it'.s noisy if you want to open the double glazed windows.

excellent location, walkable from gare du nord and close to montmartre. the 9th arr. is a really nice neighbourhood, check out the shops along rue des martyrs. all hotel staff were very pleasant.

the staff were exceptionally helpful. the location was superb for anything that you could possibly be wanting to go and see. it was my girlfriend's fost time in paris and the hotel definitely played a bug part in her falling in love with the place. in terms of value for money it was probably the best i've ever found.

the check-in staff were friendly and very helpful with directions, advice, etc. they were very accommodating. even though i speak french, their english was excellent - making the stay very easy.
the location was not in a very good area, and the rooms were a little bit "tired."

a comfortable stay in an interesting area of paris, convenient for gare du nord. shops, bars and restaurants close by. friendly reception speaks good english, for those who need it.

the hotel seemed fine but the room (no.002) was next to the reception on the ground floor and directly above the restaurant and extremely noisy. there was a banging from the building next door all through the night. in my opinion the room should never be used as a bedroom.
p.s. i have just submitted a review for the catalunya plaza mistaking it for this hotel. please ignoure that review although that room was also very noisy through the night.
