 clean and well ventiliated, quiet and dark - slept extremely well!
 the communication skill level of one of the reception staff which made booking in time consuming and i had to go back down to reception - with all my lugage - because my key card had not been activated for which no apology was given
bit clearer instructions about how to get their from euston station.

lights didn't work properly. room was damp and smelly. water took ages to run hot.
the only reason i would stay at this hotel again is it's convenient location for my event. ohter than that i would never go there again.

room service - breakfast was delivered and top cover taken leaving hot meal to go cold on the table in the short time i finished in the shower - i also wanted to eat the cereal first, so taking way the hot cover which i was told at the desk is standard practice, is not a good idea. i did get a reduction of the five pounds tray charge for room service.

good location and quiet.
the quality of the bed was poor.
for me, the location was perfect; handy to euston and kings cross stations, and walking distance to tottenham court rd. hotel staff (desk, room service, concierge) were courteous and very helpful.
i suffer from a bad back and unfortunately the matress was very uneven and uncomfortable - definitely in need of replacement. this single but significant issue casts a shadow over an otherwise pleasant stay. (source : Activehotels.com - Avis Thistle Euston)

the first room given to us was not even cleaned at all. i tried to call the reception but no picked up to the phone. so i had to all the way to down to let them know of my room condition.
they didn't clean the toilets, which i had to report. the toliet was leaking the whole night making noise which we couldn't bear.
