I would recommend the laurel inn to any one who needs to be in the vicinity of monterey who wants a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. the staff was super friendly and the breakfast was a great option to grab something good on the way out.

We had four people in a two-queen room, so from a value standpoint, this place can't be beat. the room was spotless. the breakfast was tasty and fresh- no stale pastries here. fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels with cream cheese, coffee and juices, etc.
